2017 May Harp Concerts and Healing Harp

Dear all, tonight at 5.30 pm at the Loft of Broadway Christian Church is the last harp and healing service of this season. Please join us for contemplative 45 min of live music, today with guest cellist Kirk Trevor and Terry Overfelt singing and officiating. We will take a break for the summer and start again on the first Tuesday in September. Next Sunday, May 7th, I am playing a harp recital at the Lake Ozark Christian Church at 2pm. I will harp solo repertoire and also perform some pieces with my guest vocalist Caitlin Chisham. This concert is part of The Lake arts council's season. 2017 April Harp Concerts and Healing Harp

Dear friends of harp music, I would like to invite you to Harp and Healing tonight at 5.30 at the Loft of Broadway Christian church. Come and contemplate with us during this Lenten season during this non denominational 45 minutes long service of word, live therapeutic music and candle light. April 10th is a pretty big night for the Trevor family as my husband and I were asked to perform as a duo ( cello and harp ) at the Concert Series at the Boone Historical Society. In the second half of the program Missouri Symphony Conservatory Chamber Players will perform under the direction of my husband Kirk. 2017 March Harp Concerts and Healing Harp

Dear friends of harp music, There are few events that might interest you this month. Tonight - Harp and Healing at Broadway Christian Church at 5.30pm. Just like every first Tuesday of each month, we will gather at the Loft of Broadway Christian Church to this ecumenical service of live soothing harp music and inspirational words. Come join us, let the stress wash away in the dark setting and candle light. This service is aimed to help us overcome life's difficulties such as loss of a loved one, divorce, health problems, emotional struggles. Missouri Symphony Conservatory Fundraiser Serenade with Barrage 8 on March 12th. The fundraiser is held at the Missouri theater and will feature Barrage 8 in concert with our students as well. There will be food, cocktails and silent auction starting at 4pm in the afternoon. Barrage 8 will have a workshop and rehearsal with the kids the day before. I have 2 young harpists in the program and they are very excited about this! More info http://mosymphonysociety.org/events-tickets/ Harp studio recital at Lenoir Woods Activity Center on March 15th at 6pm. The Columbia harp trio will be performing and some of my students will play solos as well. We are excited to present this annual concert at Lenoir in a community that loves music and is so welcoming to us! I will also be playing the Wizard of Oz production with Helias High School in Jefferson City on March, 10th 7pm, 11th 7pm and 12th at 2pm. On March 19th, I will be playing with the Columbia Civic orchestra at 7.30pm at Broadway Christian Church, the concert includes new compositions by Missouri Composers orchestra Project winners. 2017 February Harp Concerts and Healing Harp

Hello all, Harp and Healing service is tonight, just as every first Tuesday of each month. Please join us for this free ecumenical service if you want to take a break from everything tonight! On the Valentine's Day I will be playing at the University Club from 6pm to 8pm. On February 18th, I will be playing beautiful Elegiac Trio by Arnold Bax for flute, viola and harp as part of Odyssey Chamber music series. The concert is at 3pm at First Baptist Church. My husband will be conducting a chamber symphony on the second half of the concert as well. On February 20th, I will play a concert with MU band at 7pm at the Missouri Theatre and on the 26th a concert with the Columbia Civic orchestra at 7.30 at the Missouri Theatre. Have a great month!

2017 January Harp Concerts and Healing Harp

Hello everybody and Happy New Year to you and your families! Just a reminder for those that are interested, that Harp and Healing is on tonight at 5.30 pm at the Loft of Broadway Christian Church. Come and join us for 45 min of therapeutic music and inspirational word. This nondenominational service is intended for those who lost a loved one, are battling with an illness, those who went through a breakup or divorce and anybody facing similar life's difficulties. Other dates this month, I will be playing in Springfield on January the 14th with the Springfield Symphony. On January 15th I will be playing at the Wedding Expo between noon and 4pm at the Holiday Inn. So if you know of any brides looking for live music for their wedding ceremony, please send them to me :-) Have a great start of 2017!

2016 December Harp Concerts and Healing Harp

Hello friends of harp music! December is right behind the door and I want to share some of the concerts that I participate in with you. Attached is the poster for my concert at the Columbia public library tomorrow night - December 1st at 7pm. It's free and open to public. I will be playing variety of repertoire and 2 of my talented students Jenny Lynn and Ruth Acuff will join me in a harp trio as well. On December 2nd at 5.15 and 7pm I will take part playing for Columbia College Lighting Ceremony, the concerts are in CC chapel. The ceremony, free and open to the public, consists of the lighting of more than 4,500 white lights that illuminate the exterior of the campus throughout the holiday season. The college president along with the Student Government Association (SGA) president leads a countdown. At zero, the lights burst into view (from west to east) on the peaks and gables of Hughes Hall, Launer Auditorium, St. Clair Hall, Dorsey Hall, Atkins-Holman Student Commons and Missouri Hall. Harps of my students will be sounding this weekend as well at the Annual Holiday Home Tour at the University of Missouri President's Residence.
