Dear friends of harp music,

I hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving! I would like to invite you to my concerts in December.

Blue Christmas is a quiet and contemplative annual service at Broadway Christian Church. Gentle Christmas harp music will provide the ambience and spoken word will be crafted in collaboration between Rev. Terry Overfelt and Rev. Andrew Taylor Peck. This service is meant for those for whom December is not necessarily a joyous month. Whether you are dealing with grief over a recent loss of a loved one or a loss that’s not so recent, the sadness seems to resurface around the holidays stronger than ever. Blue Christmas is here to help you start this month and be seen as you are with the burdens you carry. Free and open for all, on Tuesday, December 2nd at 6.00 PM at Broadway Christian Church.

Next, I would like to invite you to a special concert that my husband and I are part of with our Cello and Harp duo – 51 Strings. We are preparing a program for the Candlelight Holiday Concert for Odyssey Chamber Music Series. This concert has a special ambiance with hundreds of candles on stage!  Save the date  – December 12th, 7.00PM at First Baptist church.

And finally, on Christmas Eve I will be taking my harp first to Broadway Christian Church for 11 AM service and then to Missouri United Methodist Church for 7.00PM, 9.00PM and 11.00PM services.
