Dear friends of harp music,I would like to invite you to the number of interesting music opportunities through the end of April and in the month of May.First, my husband and I are very proud of our Missouri Academy of music students and the culmination of their hard work this semester can be heard in concert on Sunday, April 27th at 7.00 PM at Broadway Christian Church. Please join us for this admission free concert!A few days leading to this performance, I will be playing with the St. Louis Ballet in their production of Gershwin’s “Who cares?” in St. Louis on April 26th and a matinee on the 27th at the Blanche M.Touhill Performing arts Center.This is a collaboration between the Springfield Symphony and St. Louis Ballet and can also be seen in Springfield on May 3rd. https://www.springfieldmosymphony.org/concert/swonderful/I would also like to invite you to hear my students play for Curated! Crafter! Created! It’s artisan’s and a small / micro business market at the Columbia Mall on Sunday May 4th. The market will feature local artisans with handmade goods, delicious treats and interactive experience. My students and I will be performing in front of Dillards from 1 PM to 3 PM. Please come and hear my talented students!On May 6th, Broadway Christian Church is joining forces with Unity of Columbia in Harp and Healing. Pastor Terry Overfelt is coming out of retirement to join us for the special service led by Reverend Anne Hickey of Unity. Writer and poet Ibtisam Barakat has agreed to join us to read some of her writings and meditations. I will be providing classical and therapeutic music. Please join us for this much needed service on May 6 at 6.00 PM at Unity, 1600 West Broadway.!!!! And now the big announcement !!!!I have an exciting announcement and an invitation I want to share with you all!I would love for you to come and celebrate my album release Dream Harp on May 18th at 6:00PM at Broadway Christian Church. A beautiful evening with special guests is planned and I am hoping this to be an Experience and an opportunity to gather for family, friends and music lovers!Super excited to share the stage with my step daughter, concert violinist Chloé Trevor, my husband Kirk Trevor on cello and visual artist Vesna Delevska who will live paint during the event.The reception will follow shortly after and the new album will be available for sale as a cd, but also available for download and streaming on all main digital platforms.Hope to see you all!Please keep in touch with me on Facebook and Instagram.Have a great month!Maria
