2018 October Harp Concerts and Healing Harp

Dear friends of Harp music,

September has been very busy for me and really flew by. Some of my favorite moments included performing in collaboration with an incredibly talented artist Vesna Delevska in Saint Louis, our family mini vacation to the Smoky Mountains, performing for Super Sam foundation and a Fantasy themed wedding in Castle Unicorn in Iowa. I will attach some pictures for you to loo at. You can also find pictures and updates from events I play at my Facebook page Maria Duhova Trevor – Harpist and Instagram maria_duhova_trevor_harp.
Now I am looking forward to events in October (and my birthday too!) Some of the private events I will take part of will be weddings in Missouri and Illinois and an employee recognition dinner for 3M.
The public events that I can actually invite you to are listed bellow.
Harp and Healing – tomorrow – Tuesday October 2nd at 5.30pm at the Loft of Broadway Christian Church. Join me and pastor Terry Overfelt in contemplative 45 minutes of live harp music and inspirational word on a theme of healing. Physical healing, emotional, relational…. this is a monthly ecumenical service happening on first Tuesday of each month, completely free and open to public.
Springfield Symphony Concert – this is for those of you in Springfield, I am looking forward to joining my colleagues again this season in concert performing Mahler 4th Symphony.  The concert is on Saturday October 6th at 7.30pm at the Hammons Hall.
Columbia Civic Orchestra concert – I will be back in Columbia on Sunday October 7th to play this concert at 7.30pm at the beautiful Missouri Theatre. On the program is Ravel’s Mother Goose suite, Debussy’s Rhapsody for clarinet and Tchaikovsky’s 4th symphony. This concert is free and open to public.
University of Missouri Wind Ensemble concert – my busy weekend won’t be over until Monday night October 8th, when I will join the Wind Ensemble in concert at the Missouri Theatre at 7pm. This concert is also free and open to public and features some very energetic compositions with lovely harp parts. It will only be about an hour long.
I am booking weddings for 2019 and 2020, but I am also booking Christmas church performances  and Holiday corporate and non profit events for this December. If you or your company are interested in a special touch of live harp music at your Holiday party please let me know.
Thank you, have a great month!
Maria
